Why two? Why double? Why dual?

Why it's always like this!

The doors of a cabinet,

the pillows,

the stoves,

the cups and water glasses,

shampoo and conditioner, 

the faucet controls,

shoes, sneakers, boots,

the outlets and switches,

the door locks,

chopsticks,

knife and fork,

or soup ladles,

and even my eyes—— 

They have found their companions, but I don’t.

They all have found their companions, but I don't.

I am jealous.
